Weston Revel 2024 - Splitboard
Revel is the surf of snow at its best - preferring the deepest possible trees and powder. Like many powder plates, Revel has a very large nose with a good amount of inverted camber. We associate it with our predominantly Cambre Powder profile and our emblematic fishtail. This combination offers unequaled flotation in deep snow, saving your energy for the whole time you spend in the white room. A nucleus of poplar leonons and Paulownia with bamboo insertion blocks allows this board to be light and agile with carbon surge to keep the pop in the swallowtail. The robust nylon topsheet, based on castor seeds, helps to evacuate snow and adds sustainability, while the Sintered 4001 base offers top speed in a minimalist black design to create flawless repairs. The Revel tears the powder in the deepest conditions, as one might require in the depths of Revestoke.
As on all our Splitboards, we have moved the Touring support forward to facilitate kick turns and on this model, we use Karakoram Ultraclips 2.0 with active locking, installed with our basic technology without holes, to help Create the most reactive wrinkle.
With the Mission series, Weston has teamed up with artist Jessa Gilbert, based in British Columbia, and Capow Canadian Powder Guiding to offer Avalanche scholarships to our Canadian brothers and sisters.
