Weston Eclipse 2024 - Splitboard
The Eclipse Weston is a hybrid of powder and freeride which prefers trees, powder and slopes of all kinds. Like many powder plates, the eclipse has a very wide nose and a rear tapered In the form of a crescent, but it is differentiated by a moderately rigid flex adapted to women, our freeride profile and only 10 mm of setback. This combination allows the board to be agile in the trees, reliable in the Chop and the marginal and floating conditions in the deep snow.
A powerful poplar nucleus and bamboo stems allow this board to be soft and surfable, with carbon stems from point to heel to give it a little more pop. The robust nylon topsheet, based on castor seeds, helps evacuate snow and adds sustainability while the 4001 fried base offers a top speed in a minimalist black design to create flawless repairs. All this allows the Eclipse to tear the powder while remaining efficient in variable conditions, when you go from one powder reserve to another.
As on all our Splitboards, we have moved the Touring support forward to facilitate kick turns. On this model, we use ultraclips 2.0 Karakoram with active locking, installed with our basic technology without holes, to help create the most reactive wrinkle.
